Peripheral, Mike McBride, has a style that somewhat defies the laws of gravity. Combining elements of serene melody, moving textures, and deep rhythm, Peripheral has been regarded by many as one of Asheville’s best up and coming Producers. Mike is also known as Sonmi Suite’s keyboard/synth/computer master brain. You can find his music on skewrecords.com, a local label he has been a part of since day one. Look out for his podcast he recently completed for Lab Coat this month as well as a full length in early 2011.
As the newest inductee to the Lab Coat crew, Peripheral will be kicking off our newly started podcast series. His mix features roughly 30 min of all original heaters spanning as far back as the last 4 years of his solo production career.
