2011 was a breakthrough year for Atlanta, GA based producer Hayden Kramer, better known by his beatsmith moniker heRobust. Out of nowhere, this young talent came onto the the playing field swinging. His debut album entitled “Albumin” was released under the independent Saturate Records imprint with much fanfare, generating buzz across internet, eventually landing him a writeup on XLR8R in addition to the countless blogs that also carried the story. As word of his music spread, he was asked to perform at LA’s now world famous Low End Theory where he shared the bill with such scene giants as Flying Lotus, Gaslamp Killer and Daddy Kev.
We are very pleased now to have heRobust guest appear for our 4th podcast which marks the year anniversary of our first edition. For this mix, Hayden has put together a number of original tracks which include a few exclusive beats that are being presented for the first time right here and will later be released on his upcoming album “Morning After”.
Along side his material, he has also thrown in a small showcase of other Atlanta producer talent: P Villa, Time Wharp, REKchampa, Divine Interface, Moist Ghost, Ethereal and Supreme INK. This is really an awesome offering from the Georgia beat scene and will keep your head nodding from start to finish.
